Husband‘s request - brownies. Any bets on how long the pan will last?
I‘m not a baker beyond the basics and this companion is perfect support. Lots of helpful advice in it. #Mtcookbook
Husband‘s request and I happened to have all the ingredients on hand. Now the fam‘s sweet teeth are all satisfied for the weekend!
This challenge is doing wonders for checking my books before the interwebs. 😊 #Mtcookbook
Got this book at Bob‘s Red Mill in Milwaukie, OR, just south of Portland, OR on vacation. So cool to see the headquarters in person! They have all kinds of Bob‘s Red Mill products at my grocery store in the natural food section. There are 31 recipes I want to try making in here. No pictures of recipes, though. I want to see how it‘s supposed to turn out!
This recipe book will take you right back to 1976. Please use this link to find out more

TODAY‘S PROMPT: WOMAN FACING AWAY
“Samantha Vérant‘s debut fiction novel, is the story of a young female chef who journeys to France with aspirations of earning a coveted spot in an elite kitchen despite inherent challenges that stand in her way.
Whimsical and charming,”

Today‘s op shop purchases with my discount card. I looked forward to doing this all day. Grand total $24. No ballet = more op shopping time 😢 I spoiled myself with a cheesy naan for dinner and a glass of red. I had to intake test a child with a history of violence today but it all went well.
I probably would have bailed on this one if it wasn't my seasonal cozy pick. It seems like the story was a bit unnecessarily drawn out, and didn't have as much to do with the theme of St. Patrick's Day as I thought it would. Probably not a series I would read any more of.
