"Why do we need the sun? The sun gives us light, warmth, and energy."
This is perfect for encouraging a love of learning in young students. Use it as a reference book during science lessons or for student-led research on topics that interest them.
This fun and informative book answers questions kids often ask, such as "Why do I have to sleep?" and "Why do we need the sun?" With bright pictures and clear explanations, it sparks curiosity and encourages further exploration.
This is a fun, if a bit dated in places (questions about cassette tape recorders, anyone?) book of questions and answers that tries to be funny in places and sometimes succeeds. It‘s not one I would say run out and buy, but if you happen to see it in a LFL, it‘s worth picking up. (And, spoiler alert, yes, they do! 🐧)
The sweetest Texas A&M student just delivered the 27 book series I ordered for my preschooler at the beginning of the summer. Seeing her walk down my driveway with a box full of books was so exciting. As you can see, my little one zeroed right in on the sticker book. 💕💕💕
I personally love Dr. Seuss books. I had never read this one in particular. This book was written in the 70's and while today these may be offensive pictures and references, they were not at their time.
I would love to read this to my 2nd graders and see what they know and or can remember.
