I think I may have enjoyed this collection of Peculiar lore more than I enjoyed the second and third books of the #PeculiarChildren trilogy. (I‘m still not over Riggs making his protagonist Jewish then failing to accurately reference it. We don‘t have ministers!!! We have rabbis!!!! How did no one catch that error????)

Audiobook is a great format for this collection. Simon Callow is wonderful!

And so the #PeculiarChildren trilogy ends. [I know there‘s a new book coming out this fall; I‘ll definitely add it to my hold requests at the library when it becomes available.]

While I‘m still annoyed by the tokenism of Jacob and his family‘s Jewishness, overall it‘s a good series with interesting characters. This book was a good conclusion to the adventure started in book one.

I‘m taking this summer off from my position as early childhood director at my camp to be home with Little Dude, but today was a perfect day to visit all our friends! It‘s an hour drive from our house, giving me plenty of time to finish this #audiobook. 🚙📖😎

I don‘t know if I‘ll do a proper review (time is limited when one has an infant) but I definitely enjoyed this and am looking forward to listening to Library of Souls. #PeculiarChildren

Just finished this on audiobook! Was definitely a different and unique plot line, which I find refreshing. My favorite character is Enoch and just thought all the characters had great personalities. World building and character development was great.

I really like how he used photographs to tell these stories. I did enjoy this first one more than the others but the plot was good. A great YA novel.
