As we all try to adapt to the new normal, I found myself noticing some things and I just wanted to talk about them here. I love Litsy. Littens are always so kind. I just want to feel like I belong.
#NewNormal

blank I think its pretty much impossible to ignore the current situation and its not fair to expect everyone to be positive all the time right now. 5y
Lcsmcat I‘m with you. If you need a safe space to voice your fears and frustrations, I think Litsy can be that place for you. We‘re strong and compassionate enough to support both ways of coping. 5y
CarolynM I totally agree with @Lcsmcat You keep being you and post anything you want to share. There will be someone listening. Sending love and hugs💕🤗 5y

alisiakae I agree with @laurenslibrary. I am not muting any hashtags, and while I can‘t be on Litsy as much as I usually am right now, I support you and whatever you need right now. 💞 5y
ImperfectCJ I'm very glad you said this. I've been feeling wary about posting anything not-so-positive here, but really, we're all in a very challenging situation and sometimes it's not possible (or honest) to act positive. I think a little grief, frustration, and maybe even a smidgen of despair are all valid reactions to our current reality, and sometimes it helps to be able to share that. 5y
wanderinglynn I think that people should share what they need to share, whether it‘s sharing positive posts or sharing concerns & anxieties or something in between. Whatever you need to post, we will support you and listen. This is a community and each of us has a voice here, should we choose to share it. 💚 5y
Librarybelle ❤️❤️❤️ 5y
Eyelit I say speak your truth. More than likely you‘ll find you‘re not alone. I‘m here with you. 💜 5y
xicanti I‘m with the other commenters: I‘m not muting hashtags, and I‘m glad to see Littens cope however they need to. I appreciate the positivity because I‘m sad and angry and frustrated right now, but it doesn‘t have to take over the whole of Litsy. There‘s space here for what you‘re feeling. 5y
GrilledCheeseSamurai Shout out your truth! I find my emotions have been going up and down the entire spectrum every which way that I don't even know how I feel anymore. Trying to mute that would only make things worse. 5y
TK-421 Many are seeking a refuge from negativity, but nobody should be forced to censor themselves. I‘m sorry you‘re feeling like you can‘t be yourself. Litsy should be a safe space where everyone can share & belong. I‘m one of those trying to make a positive post every day but I‘d never give anyone sh*t for sharing their fears & anxieties. I have a mental illness too & I get how that complicates things. Keep being you 🤗 your honesty is appreciated 💜 5y

Each of you highlight the very best of Litsy and I hope you know how much you are appreciated! I enjoy the positive posts while at the same time I know we are struggling. Together we can do this. Much love. ❤️📚 (edited) 5y

I could get used to some parts of this #newnormal. I‘m seeing all clients via telemed from home so my work attire is a presentable top, supportive bra and yoga pants. When I‘m done for the day I change into my evening attire including a far less supportive bra and pajama pants. 😆 #keepinglitsypositive

Scochrane26 I decided today that I could get used to working from home, too. I‘d rather see kid clients in person, but it‘s also nice to save time by not driving to them. 5y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks We should be doing more telehealth! What area do you work in? 5y
BlameJennyJane @Scochrane26 yeah, I agree. It‘s so nice but honestly, I don‘t know what I‘m going to do about my kid clients yet. That‘s next week‘s task! Play therapy and teletherapy are not ideally happening concurrently! ☺️ 5y
BlameJennyJane @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I‘ve been on both ends of it recently and love teletherapy! I‘m a mental health counselor. As long as clients are stable and/or I know where they are it can be an ideal situation in many ways! 😃 5y
