Talk about a #mustreadauthor. Had to go grab this latest Lucy Barton, where Strout brings a bunch of characters, including cranky 90yo Olive, together. Let‘s hope it‘s not the last 📚🤞🏼💕.

Lucashenko is a Goorie (Aboriginal) author who has become a #mustreadauthor for me. Her #ozfiction is punchy, raw and very entertaining. Her novels explore the true history of Australia and I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to better understand what went on here in an accessible way. Having just read a non-fiction book about the Native Police in Queensland I appreciated reading a fictional account here. Bravo 👏
❤️💛🖤
This is Amor‘s third novel. We read his second A Gentleman in Moscow for bookclub a couple of years ago. It was universally acclaimed, which is unusual in our club.
Amor says he tries to head in a completely different direction with each novel & this is very different to Gentleman. It felt a tiny bit reminiscent of Of Mice & Men 🤔.
Think he might‘ve become a #mustreadauthor for me. Need to get my hands on his first Rules of Civility now.
This is Hannah Kent‘s third novel. She is a #mustreadauthor for me. Her books champion women on the fringes. Historical fiction with a twist. Her writing is sublime. It‘s a ‘yes‘ from me. #ozfiction ❤️
Look what I got 🤗🤓📖. And it‘s a signed copy 😍. #newrelease #ozfiction #currentlyreading #mustreadauthor
This is the third novel I‘ve read of Favel Parrett‘s. It is the second of her three books and she has become a #mustreadauthor for me. My favourite is still her first novel, Past The Shallows.
In this book her stunning yet sparse prose illuminates Tasmania and Antarctica, and I loved her beautifully drawn characters.
I‘m ready and waiting for her next offering 🤗🤞😍.

Full disclosure: I‘m a serious Perlman fan. I‘ve read all his published fiction. This is his latest novel and I couldn‘t resist bumping it to the top of my gargantuan #tbr.
Contemporary, observant, funny and clever. It explores sexual misconduct in the workplace and the pressures of modern life, with a bit of love story thrown in for good measure.
Perlman is a great Australian novelist. #mustreadauthor

This was wonderful. Epic, beautiful but very accessible. Storytelling that hooked me in from the beginning.
I‘ve read all three of Hosseini‘s novels and reckon he might just be a #mustreadauthor for me.
I loved it. It had me on a roller coaster of emotions. Shock, fear, anxiety, anger, disbelief. And I found the ending satisfying.
I haven‘t read a lot of Margaret Atwood. Maybe 5 of her books? But after reading 2 in the last few months, I am realizing I need to go back and read everything she‘s written, and also add her to my #MustReadAuthor list.
I know I‘ll keep thinking about this book for a while. That‘s high praise!
