Quick and Short Book Reports | Randy Thorne

So I kind of followed my #WeeklyForecast…took a slight detour and added 2 books which I hadn‘t planned on reading.
Knocked off 2 #ARCs from #MtNetGalley, both were good and finished Ariadne ( which I loved) and TOBG ( which I didn‘t love).
Favorite of the week: Ariadne

Red Clocks: A Novel | Leni Zumas

After reading a couple of misses in a row, I'm really hoping this one is a hit. I've read lots of positive things about it so fingers crossed! 🤞

Also, the cover isn't as effective in black and white!

This is another #Netgalley read. Still working my way through the self-inflicted backlogue. Note to self: do not request All The Books at the same time!

wanderlustforwords I tried Netgalley a couple of years ago and was never approved for the books I requested. Do you have any tips? 7y

readingjedi @wanderlustforwords Erm, not really. I don't really know what it is about my profile that publishers like. My rating is way below the suggested 80% I do request a lot of books though, anything and nearly everything, so even if only a small percentage get approved, I still get a fair few. 7y
