Ok so part of what I do irl is chair the TN Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence. In that context I want to say that this YA novel is important, empowering and the author includes diverse characters and ends with resources to empower girls and to help those who may have been victims of assault. I absolutely loved this book! I found that is was a wonderfully pertinent book for the highly charged climate many of us find ourselves living in these days.
