Texting my #bookbestie @Pinkmeghan about the myriad ways in which we are Book People. Some people aren't, and that's ok, but it's always a bit startling when we're presented with the hardcore EVIDENCE of it. Gods above, I love my Book People, my fellow Littens. And I will ALWAYS remember where we were when Michael Jackson died....
Pinkmeghan I'm sorry but when someone who's on fb bragging about how much they love reading posts that they've read every book they own I call foul. My tbr list exceeds my life expectancy. 😂 8y

Pinkmeghan @mrsmarch so it says it will take me 7 years to finish my tbr but I doubt it since part of the problem is that new books keep coming out! Plus at some point I won't be able to keep up at the same 100 per year pace... 8y

Joybishoptx How do you not add books? Like DAILY? I add at least 10 books a week. And I usually buy or check out 3 or 4 a week. Mmmmmhmmmmm. I don't think so. @Pinkmeghan (edited) 8y
mrsmarch @Joybishoptx @Pinkmeghan My contention is that the person in question is not a Book Person, and therefore her 12 books IS quite an accomplishment...I mean hello, most Americans don't read ONE book a year, much less 12. And don't forget the re-reads.... 8y
Pinkmeghan @mrsmarch @Joybishoptx I agree she's not a Book Person, BUT if you asked her I think she would claim to be one. I think I'm just miffed because a few Tibtoberfests ago I tried to be friendly and give her several book recommendations and she ignored me. 8y
