As happens every time I read or watch this, I‘m so sad it‘s over. Pride and Prejudice sparked my love for other classic literature when I was younger.

While I normally find myself drawn to flawed characters and angsty stories, I still am a sucker for a happy ending. I love a good love story, especially when framed around a smart and strong female character... and Darcy, my prototype for a dreamy man.

DAB That is why I love the adaptation. 4y

Fluffy lamb socks, candles, fairy lights, and the last chapter of a fascinating book by “the sanest man in America” according to Bill Bryson. Not a bad Thursday evening. #livingthegoodlife #cutesocks #comfy #cozy #amlearning #amreading #nonfiction #political #lastchapter

Pickpick

"And then, without warning, it swept over him, the dreadful truth, more completely and undeniably than it had until now" (p. 600).

Hard concluding chapters to get through. Now we move on with Harry without them both.

This quote is before the 13th chapter titled Expressing Appreciation in Nonviolent Communication. I'm reading the 2nd edition, so this is the last chapter.

geodynamical_nonfiction @amybeth This book came to me highly praised when I told the universe I wanted to "unschool" my future children. This book was recommended to me to help me communicate with my husband, my coworkers, my bosses, my students, my family... And everyone. It's amazing heartspeak. Hope you take a closer look. :) 8y
amybeth @geodynamical I'm looking forward to checking it out, I'm a philosophy major in religious studies and the idea of nonviolence is always a topic, which I find to be a most stimulating problem to find more ways to communicate and create proper dialogue between religions and between your own loved ones or people on the street. I appreciate your recommendation. :) 8y
