A pretty good week. Friday the humidity was so bad I skipped the cardio and went to the library instead. 🤷🏻♀️
I took a break from Cozy mysteries, as they began to run together. Female's life implodes, is left some structure in some tiny town, & Male interest some type of law enforcement. I was introduced to Patricia Fisher through Steve Higgs' newsletter.
Mr. Higgs managed to create an older female protagonist who acted her age and was still interesting. Patricia is an authentic, engaging, and sympathetic character, one well worth getting to know. 👇
The Numbers Killer was a great, fast paced read! Instead of having you seek out the murderer, you are given this information right at the beginning. You could think that would make for a boring read, it is a thriller after all. Multiple murders help too, allowing for minor characters to drop clues for our agents to figure out.

I did it! I completed my 5K today! It was a fantastic race, and I got just the time I was hoping for. (My husband did great too, so it was a success all around.) 38 weeks pregnant today, and I know I have benefitted so much from my training and exercise the past few weeks and months.
