A fun holiday murder mystery. Interesting, although not all likeable characters. Almost made me late for an appointment this morning as I was snuggled up in bed reading it.
pickCourtney Milan is such a historical romance rock star. This is the story of an two strangers, a black man and a white woman, forced to marry at gunpoint. They have to work together to obtain an annulment, but meanwhile are growing a little closer. Read it despite the terrible cover. (That veil, it kills me.)

so-soUnusual move in #romantsy series, the story revisits an earlier couple who had a HFN. David annoyed me some in earlier books but in this one he was a stage 5 clinger & so over the top dramatic that I was repeatedly eye rolling. I liked Ray & the cast of secondary characters but overall this was too much drama coaster for me. ❤️❤️❤️
