Bklover Poor Aziz is falling apart! Fielding is definitely going out on a limb for him. 1y
Bookwormjillk I wish Fielding could get in touch with Miss Quested! Very frustrating 😖 1y

AnnR It's interesting how much of the focus in the book switches to Fielding. In a way, he's like the glue that holds the whole story together. 1y
BarkingMadRead @AnnR I totally agree. And @Bookwormjillk I was thinking the same. If one hand knew what the other hand was doing, all of this could be resolved quickly! 1y
dabbe @AnnR If it were a detective story, he'd be our Sherlock Holmes! #sherlocked 😃 1y
mcctrish Everyone just talks in circles #wherestheguywithbluntheadtrauma 1y
TheAromaofBooks I think it's interesting how everyone just seems resigned to the situation - all of the Indians don't seem to care if Aziz is innocent or guilty, it's just time to “rally the team“ - and the same with the English. It's so much more about us vs. them than it is about justice or whether or not Aziz did anything! 1y
BarkingMadRead @TheAromaofBooks yes! Nobody seems to want to find the truth, they just want to do battle! 1y
