My #FridayBookShare for #MidwinterSolace is The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Not a comfy read, but it‘s one of my favorite mysteries, and the most suspenseful scenes take place in winter.

AnishaInkspill 💛great choice, mine too, I really want to read this one again, maybe I'll try and fit in next year 2w
DogMomIrene @AnishaInkspill Thanks! I‘ve been thinking of rereading the original trilogy. I‘d like to read the other Lizbeth books with the different author, but feel like I should reread as a whole series. 2w
AnishaInkspill @DogMomIrene me too, I've always wanted to come back to them and yesterday, decided I'm lining up the first one for next year (I was only going to read 40 books but 😂 😂 it's already getting out of hand), and read one a year.

Meantime, I think I saw on Amazon Prime 2011 movie Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, starring Daniel Craig, if it's still there I might watch it this weekend.

DogMomIrene @AnishaInkspill 😂😂😂 2025 plans are out of hand here too. I was thinking about book series I could tackle in 2025 and added this one to the list. And the 2011 Daniel Craig movie version is good, but I did prefer the Swedish trilogy of movies that had been released a couple years earlier. 1w
AnishaInkspill @DogMomIrene me too, yeah DC was good but preferred the Swedish one, it's got that something, I dunno, I always feel the mood of the film matched Lisbeth Salander, it's jus got something more. I am also tempted to read all 3 next year but i've lined up a few big books, so I don't know if I will, so I look forward to your posts if you manage it.

oh, and on Prime it's Spider's Web withDC, I didn't get a chance to watch it,maybe next weekend 😂 😂

I would post both of these for my #fridaybookshare for #midwintersolace They are fantasy/folk/fairy tale style. I‘m excited to see everyone‘s favorite fiction book set in Winter!

Asthecroweflies Both have great audiobook versions too. I listen to both at least once a year. 2w
