laundry_piles Hopefully I did this post right but feel free to jump in! I personally loved this book more than the first one. It definitely felt more reminiscent of the original Fear Street books. 6y

Craftylikefox @laundry_piles @BookwormAHN I really enjoyed this one more than the first as well. Less cringe worthy slang. More monsters which makes it nuts! 😂This one was a bit closer to a goosebumps but with teenagers. So much fun! 6y

BookwormAHN @laundry_piles @Craftylikefox definitely a Goosebumps vibe. My least favorite character was the psychiatrist. I knew she was up to something. I'm not sure who my favorite was. 6y

Craftylikefox That‘s a tough one! I like this main character better than the last story‘s. my least favorite... maybe Issac, he kept complaining about his band and I kept thinking well then practice more or do something about. 6y

BeansPage I personally thought the ending was a little more than cheesy but that's RL Stine for you lol 6y

ads0123 I enjoyed this one a lot more than the first one! I was super suspicious of the psychiatrist from the beginning, too. Also, I don‘t think you could pay me enough money to go back to a house after 2 murders were committed basically on their front lawn. Just say no Lisa!!!! 6y

RedxoHearts Goosebumps were my absolute favorite books growing up. I can't believe I never read any of his Fear Street books though! I'm going to have to get one to read one day 6y

I can't say enough times how much I love RL Stine's writing. He is just an awesome writer.
I enjoyed this book very much and look forward to reading the next Fear Street installment.

Craftylikefox This brought me back to the classic Stine writing as well. There were some parts I cringed at. Usually when they used slang. The slang seemed more early 90s but it was supposed to be current day. This would had me on edge when I was younger. I enjoy taking that ride back. (edited) 6y

JoScho Totally fun nostalgic read but I agree with @Craftylikefox about the slang and the dialogue in general was pretty rough but it was a fun read and I know ten year old me would have been on pins and needles while reading it. 6y

If this isn‘t the most 20-teens dedication, then I don‘t know what is! This was a fun, quick read that gave me all the nostalgic feels. I devoured goosebumps and fear street books as a kid. It‘s super silly, and obviously not the best in horror, but I enjoyed the cheesiness.
