Frankly I'm a moody holiday person--I can get into the spirit, then 10 minutes later become the Grinch--so this is not my favorite time of year with all the celebration expectations. Halloween is my #favoritetimeofyear . Crisp evenings, fallish colors and goodies, plus lots of tricks and treats. I picked up this book ages ago...it‘s a picture book that follows the adventures of a skeleton girl who finds a bone. I think it‘s fun and cute. #decdays

Another kids book! I give up on myself 😂

This book is falling apart because I loved it to bits. It‘s one of those books full of ideas of what to do each month, birds to spot, wildflowers to pick, things to make. It‘s beautifully English and full of hedgerows and pantomimes and things We Did Not Have in NZ 😂 but I loved the idea of making something out of every season. So they could all be my #favorite 😄

For the last 5 years, December hasn't really been my #favoritetimeofyear, because December equals exams. And with a move on top of it all, it is hard to really enjoy all the Christmas fun. Although, exam writing is the perfect opportunity to eat Christmas cookies and drink lots of coffee, so it isn't too shabby. 🍪☕️📖📚💻
