I have had this thought since I was a kid, and was told by my Catholic grandmother that it was quite an uncharitable thought to have. 🙄 Apparently people genuinely believe it is wrong to believe the world shouldn‘t need charity, but since it does, it is our duty to do what we can. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Go figure.

TheBookHippie It‘s allllll POLICY CHOICES. (edited) 5d
TheBookHippie You should have been at resistance spaghetti dinner -the topic: did Adam blame the apple on Eve when he was in fact guilty and did she take the blame cause “love” and is that actually our curse because she did that?!?! 😂🤷🏻‍♀️😵‍💫😝😅🫨 5d
GingerAntics @TheBookHippie what a discussion topic. That had to have been a good one! I love it. Yeah, every policy should lead to no longer needing charities or voluntary help for people, and yet most policies actually do the opposite. 5d
Bookwormjillk Another book going on my TBR 5d
GingerAntics @Bookwormjillk it‘s really good so far 5d

This is the newest book by the same author.

Noticing by Kobi Yamada was the perfect read in the quiet of the morning on the day after my father took his flight from this world. May we all take the time to “pause and allow for the extraordinary“ that this beautiful life offers!

tpixie So sorry for your loss. Hugs 🤗 I‘m glad you found some comfort in reading. 🩵 10mo

This is an important book as it helps the students think about the importance of trial and error and if we fail at first, we must try again and work hard to accomplish our goals.
