pickI found this one, or at least the first three parts of it, harder to get through than the previous book in the series. Nevertheless, I liked seeing Shadesmar via the Adolin and Shallan storyline, and the last part of the book had me frequently picking my jaw up off the floor as I have often experienced with Sanderson's work. I will be interested to see where this goes in Wind and Truth... but not for a little while, haha.

I finished the Wheel of Time series, finally, after beginning the first one way back in 2019. Fourteen books and thousands and thousands of pages. I like that the ending wasn't what I expected. It's a decent series but I disagree with the NYT that it could ever compare to or surpass LOTR. @maleficentbookdragon

It‘s been a minute since I‘ve walked around a bookstore with no plans just vibes. These are the first two books that caught my eye so I figured I‘d add them to my December tbr.

#readingbracket2025 ! Can‘t believe we have only one month left till the end of the year and then we will have to choose our favorite of the year! This month my fav was Sanderson again. I‘ve been loving our #cosmerebuddyread all year and we still have many of his books left to read in 2026!
Trying to do a reading schedule for this - 50 pages daily, to finish this 14-volume series by the end of the year and return the set to my friend who began lending me these books almost six years ago. What a journey it has been. I can appreciate the world building and the work that went into it but it hasn't hit me as hard as some other series or universes that I've explored.
I have to admit, he almost lost me with this book. It‘s was just so long. But then that last bit happened and I was all in again. I can‘t wait to hear what you thought. I‘m kinda looking for ward to a different world for a bit though. #CosmereBuddyRead
