I‘ve made good progress through GARDENS OF THE MOON, too. I like it a lot more than I did the first time I tried it, but I don‘t think it‘ll hit Love status. Still, most people agree this is the series‘ weakest book, so I‘ll look forward to the next one. #MFMarch #audiosewing

Starting the weekend with a reread since the second book in the series has been sitting on my shelves for more than a few months. I remember liking this the first time I read it. I think I‘m enjoying it even more this time!

Continuing The Wheel of Time Series.

This is book 3 and of the three I‘ve read it‘s not my favorite but I still want to know what happens next.

This one felt very much like a set up book but we‘ll just have to wait and see. I do have plans to pick up book 4 The Shadow Rising very soon.

It's a nice idea to do kind of the same, but in a different period of time. In the Priory I needed some time to get to know to world and the magic system, whereas in this book it was clear from the start, giving more space to enjoy the plot.
I do feel like I need to read this one once more to really get everything, but that won't be punishment. I loved the femininity!

Phew! 1200+ pages later - this third book in the series, where all the books are long, is the first that has *felt* long.
Overall, I still loved it, cannot wait to continue, and I am unendingly impressed with Brandon Sanderson and the work he does.
My husband is also reading through this series right now, too, so that has made it even more enjoyable.
Highly recommend the audio version, too.

I know there's still so many Brandon Sanderson books that I need to get, but I finally got them all organized on one shelf! They're not in reading order...don't @ me. 😂
I thought snow days were supposed to be restful but so far today I recaulked my bath/shower, rearranged ALL my bookshelves that have been double stacked and messy AF for almost 2 years now, hired a carpenter for some work that's been needing done, and cleaned house. 🤪

I was planning on doing a nice few hours reading tonight, but fell down a rabbit hole of The Hoof GP on YT. So for five hrs I‘ve been watching a bunch of garrulous Scotsman grinding cows feet & getting covered in shite. I wanna go to Scotland, it‘s the home of my ancestors whom actually come from the same area of south west Scotland so it feels like home. Maybe one day before I die😮‍💨🇦🇺🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
