This was such a fun ride, where the projections were on the aquarium‘s glass, with real fish inside! 🐠
Captain Nemo?! Yup, he‘s the captain of the Nautilus; on an expedition to see the deep wonders of the ocean. He also battled a giant squid 🦑 Nope, not the Kraken, but very similar.

While at Epcot, I was able to see the Flower and Garden Festival topiaries throughout the park. Here‘s Beauty and the Beast! Went to the sing-along and drank some French wine!
pickLoved this! I have read the Darker Shade of Magic trilogy and enjoyed it so thought I‘d try Schwab‘s Vicious and I was pleasantly surprised to find a very different type of book. I was reminded quite a bit of the old TV show Heroes, and a little bit of Flatliners and The OA. The characters are fascinating and I‘m excited that there are more books to follow. pickThis was such a cool book. It‘s a coffee table book style guide to Epcot that was published while Epcot was still being built, so it‘s full of concept art, models, and behind the scenes photos of the park being built. It was fascinating to learn about the original concept behind Epcot as an educational World‘s Fair, attractions that no longer exist, and especially attractions that were meant to exist and never came to be like the Africa pavilion.
The pavilion that never happened: Africa. This is why there‘s an awkwardly wide gap with not much going on between China and Germany. Sounds like it would‘ve been really neat with two shows, live drummers and performers, and a tree house that overlooks an immersive jungle diorama. I hope they eventually put a new pavilion in that space.
