“Life is easy to chronicle, but bewildering to practise.”

This novel about the life of E M Forster and his coming to terms with his sexuality was a bit slow moving for my taste.
Awesome set of short stories. All are chock full of allusions to and lessons from Greek mythology, reframed for modern-ish eyes. My favorites were The Story of a Panic and The Celestial Omnibus; both had mad Peter Pan vibes. #shortstories #emforster
3.5🌟 I wasn‘t a huge fan of the transition between part 1 and part 2. It seemed a lot abrupt to me, and quite frankly it got me a bit lost of a bit. It took me a while to get back into the rhythm of the book. I did enjoy the ending, though. It seemed to drag a bit in a few places, but that could have been the narration as well. It was a nice little escape for my Saturday, though.

If nothing else, Fredrick Davidson, the guy who reads this, does women‘s voices so well. He actually sounds like a woman when he does his women‘s voice. It‘s very well read.
