There‘s no #dancingqueen like Scarlett O‘Hara. She‘s gonna dance that reel, widow‘s weeds and all.

Did he or did he not dance (queen) the hempin‘ jig?
Thank you @PirateJenny for the book!!!
I went to change my calendar to March, and I realized that I never shared a picture of February. ❤️❤️❤️

It is just an exquisite portrait of a society where pretentiousness, fake emotion, fake culture are the norm. A wonderful satirical view of a class of people that are still very much alive today. Human nature doesn't change that much.
Nothing to do with the song except the 👸

When I hear #DancingQueen I remember when gay marriage was finally legalized 😊 my mom had always told me stories about going to this gay bar up North called the Bar Complex. To celebrate the day she played all the songs she could remember hearing the time she spent there, and this was one of them. #MarchIntoThe70s @Lizpixie @Cinfhen

"Rich man, poor man, come away.
Come to dance the Macabray.
...
Time to work and time to play,
Time to dance the Macabray.
...
One and all will hear and stay
Come and dance the Macabray.
...
Step and turn, and walk and stay,
Now we dance the Macabray."

#DancingQueen | The Lady Chablis didn‘t consider herself a drag queen, but more accurately, a transgendered night club star. She was best known for her role in John Berendt‘s book Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and also played herself in the film. I haven‘t read this memoir yet, but I want to.
