I think I need to get out more! My score was 34/108 and I was pretty generous with the definitions. Things on the list that I‘d like to do:
1. Attend a murder mystery dinner
2. Celebrate New Years Eve in another country
3. Pamper night

Well this was delightful! I have had this in my downloads for years, and just decided to give it a go. What fun protagonists, and unique premise for the series! (A lady spy/detective with her maid who is an expert in martial arts) Their repartee and friendship is so refreshing, and they are terrific sleuths. I‘m going back to start listening to the whole series!

Cheryl_Russell_BookNotes It‘s a fun series. 🙂 8h

#rexgravesmystery #1 #serieslove2024 #readyourkindle #auldlangspine This is an Agatha Christie-like “locked room”scenario. Visitors to an Inn are snowed in for a few days over the Christmas holiday.The ending was a surprise to me-a quick & easy read.

A perfectly capable sheriff is looking for the murderer, and once again our “curious” (aka nosy) main character cannot let him do his work, putting herself in dangerous situations that take away the sheriff‘s concentration. I like the stories and the writing, but I am put out by this repeat stupidity in book two of the series. I get it. Her best friend has been jailed for the crime. But the sheriff doesn‘t believe she did it either! She has ⬇️

Texreader too much time on her hands, that‘s what I think. Hopefully in book 3, she‘s taken over the new inn at Reindeer Games and will be too busy to play investigator. 18h

When a magazine photo shoot goes wrong, Angie and Mel are forced to bake cupcakes with the magazine staff. There‘s a lot of drama in this one, and it‘s not just the murder! Good listen and story, though I‘m now a bit exasperated with Mel. 😂

My 2nd Christmas murder mystery for this Christmas season. A solid historical mystery. Book 6 in series.

First off in my #12BooksOf2024 is this one from the creator of Death In Paradise, Robert Thorogood. I always enjoy his writing.

@Andrew65

Andrew65 I enjoyed the first one of this series earlier this year, but not yet got to the others. 20h
