I‘ve been watching the U.S. Figure Skating Championships this weekend & remembered Rudy Galindo‘s biography. Rudy was the surprise U.S. Men‘s Champion in 1996. His long program was one of the best in U.S. skating history in my opinion. #FigureSkating

I don't read much manga, but I have read a few queer slice-of-life series that I've enjoyed. Chika discovered the term asexual for herself after a few unfortunate encounters in her first week at university. What follows are a series of wonderfully frank conversations between new friends.

In light of the executive order made by our uninformed new president, declaring that there are only two genders, I would like to help fellow readers become better educated. Here are six books written by and/or centering on the experiences of non-binary and transgender people. I wish I had a recommendation with some intersex representation, but I can‘t think of anything at the moment. Feel free to suggest other great books in the comments below.

I understand how important this book is. I just couldn't get into it. I believe myself an ally, and I thought this book had a lot to teach me, but I got about 25% in and thought, maybe it was written for someone else. I loved this LGBTQIA+ YA romance. The title is based on the song "Friday I'm in Love" by The Cure. The book discusses sexual orientation, race, class, and music. An excellent read for music lovers during Pride Month!
