On New Year‘s Eve, Rhys Lloyd has a house full of guests. His vacation homes on Mirror Lake are a success, and he‘s generously invited the village to drink champagne with their wealthy new neighbors. But by midnight, Rhys will be floating dead in the freezing waters of the lake. This is a psychological thriller that shifts from the past to the present. We hear from all the different suspects.

EadieB Lots of secrets are being kept. The plot was such that kept me reading all the way to the very surprised ending. If you like atmospheric psychological thrillers then you would love this book. I would like to thank Sourcebooks Landmark and NetGalley for a copy for an honest review. 2y

Mina is trying to focus on her job as a flight attendant and not the problems of her five-year-old daughter back home or the problems with her marriage. The inaugural nonstop flight between London and Sydney will take 20 hours. The plane has barely taken off when Mina receives a chilling threat from an anonymous passenger who is intent on ensuring the plane never reaches its destination.

EadieB Someone who needs Mina's assistance and who knows exactly how to make her comply. A lot can happen in 20 hours. You can save hundreds of lives, or the one that matters most. This is a page-turner with a surprise ending that I didn't see coming. It was a slow-start but once it took off the suspense began to build. 3y
EadieB The chapters switch between 3 points of view, Mina, Adam (her husband) and a passenger. If you like books that feel like roller coaster rides, then you will like this one. 3y

Let Me Lie | Clare Mackintosh

Tom and Caroline Johnson chose to commit suicide 6 months apart. Anna, their daughter, is unwilling to believe it was suicide and is determined to find out what really happened. Murray Mackenzie, retired policeman, offers to help her. This book was a slow start and kept me guessing through a few plot twists until the surprise ending. It had lots of secrets and family drama.

EadieB I liked the characters of Murray and his wife Sarah the best. The book also dealt with the theme of mental illness and handled the subject very well. I like Macintosh‘s writing and look forward to her next book. (edited) 3y
Andrew65 I need to read some Claire Mackintosh. 3y

Another great read from Clare Mackintosh, I was captivated from the start. She certainly knows how to build suspense and throw in some twists. A short read but definitely not one to miss out on. #claremackintosh #thedonor #bookstagram #bookqueen #thriller #tea_sipping_bookworm #goodreads #litsy #greatreads

3.5 or 4 stars- I See You was a creepy, realistic thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat. Some of the twists in this one were a bit more predictable than they usually are in her books, but I still hung on to every word, anxiously waiting to find out how it would all turn out.

Zoe Walker feels like someone is watching her. She becomes trapped in the confines of her normal everyday world. This intense psychological thriller makes you re-evaluate every step you take and makes you see the world in a different light. It has a killer twist which keeps the pages turning until the very end. I'm looking forward to reading Mackintosh's next novel and I highly recommend this one to those who love psychological thrillers.

Cinfhen Did you read her first book???? It was sooooo good 6y
