Visited an indie bookstore in S.Hadley, MA, right across from Mount Holyoke College. They had the tagged book, which seemed to be on backorder other places we tried. We used to visit this bookstore often when my niece was a student at Mount Holyoke. We still love to visit.

Couldn‘t resist a vintage murder mystery either...

My goodies from Phoenix Books in San Luis Obispo and Book Loft in Solvang, CA. I peeked through the first several pages of Blue Iris — lovely, but of course. It‘s Mary Oliver! ❤️ #buyindie #booksnaps

It was when the owner of Telegraph Comics chirped "The magnets are on the house!" that I realized just how deep my comic bender had gone. Whoops. (The tagged book is one I couldn't fit in the photo. I also bought the first two volumes of Locke & Key.) #buyindie #byemoney

Book store bag 📚💟

LindaGrace812 My local uses those bags - I cut out the sayings, laminate them, and hang them in my office! 8y
Blaire @LindaGrace812 mine does too and I love the idea of laminating and hanging them. 8y

Pickpick

when I saw this on the bookshop shelf in Port Townsend in early November, I remembered my friend Rebecca's eyes light up when ever she talked about Mr. Rothfuss and the world he had created. I picked up for $3.50 and it's 722 pages have held my hand for over a month. Exquisite, intricate, and fun, Dickens meets LOTR. Thank you, book friend. #buyindie #shoplocal #indiebound #seasonsreadings2016

While watching Jaws again this week, I noticed their boat was named ORCA. Made us wonder if there is any connection between the two marine horror films. Couldn't pass up sharing this deliciously dramatic book cover art! Found at SeaOcean Book Berth in Seattle. #buyindie #indiebound

Raining buckets outside so I decided to visit my friend Marla at SeaOcean Book Berth here in Seattle. It is a literal treasure trove of seaworthy books, including vintage gems like the one I am holding. I always find a map or two, postcards, or a nature guide I didn't know I needed. Tucked away in Fremont/Wallingford neighborhood near the fabulous Whale Wins restaurant. #buyindie #indiebound
