The first story, Protection, seemed pointless. It didn‘t seem to give any additional information from the show, and it didn‘t give any real additional background. The other three stories fit so well with the wider arch of the Broadchurch series that a true fan can‘t help but love them. Beth‘s story, One More Secret, and Alec‘s story, Thirteen Hours, were the best volume 2.

It was great seeing more of the background stories of some of my favourite Broadchurch characters. I‘m just sorry I didn‘t make the time to read these way back when season 2 was airing.

Precisely BECAUSE he‘s a good guy, he blamed himself since he was in charge, but you could have said something Tess, but of course not. Ugh. He deserves so much better.

I know #Broadchurch and #Dibley don‘t exist, but the shows make me want to go there so bad. I suppose I could‘ve included #Narnia and #Fantastica/#Fantasia, too.

My other book from #dollartree #cheapbooks #dollarbooks #broadchurch I‘ve watched all of Broadchurch and watched the American remake Gracepoint (I loved both FYI - the writing works better on Broadchurch but the cinematography is much better on Gracepoint). I may as well read the novel as well. Lol

I'm absolutely adoring the extra little bits and pieces you don't get directly from the show. It's exactly the same, just a few extras here and there.

I can't stop listening. I already know what's going to happen, but I just keep listebing. I have to get on with my day, but the show is so great this is just a whole new way to relive/rewatch it. I have zero problems with it, the way I did before, this time around.

Loved the show, figured it was about time to really read the novel. I remember starting it once and thinking "wow that's gender normative" and putting it down. I saw it at the library as an audiobook and thought I'd give it a go again. The kindle version I have looks like the left, but the audiobook looks like the right. Here's hoping it's better than I remember.
