There were times when I was on the fence, so to speak, about his contention that dogs make people better. Do they? I believe so. However, it isn‘t there job to do so. She eventually learned the names of over 1000 objects and learned various actions related to them. Here he discussing their time together and sneaks in lots of great info about learning. This is a great book and Chaser was very much alive when it was written, so you don‘t have to worry about living through her death at the end.
