Congratulations @Moray_Reads and thanks for this opportunity to share in the #bookschangelivesgiveaway One of many books with a lifelong influence on me is Webster‘s Unabridged Dictionary. It was my all time favorite Christmas gift ever with appendices full of knowledge- including literary quotes. And so many words to learn! And maps!!! I love looking at maps!

I received this old Puffin paperback when I was in grade four and it‘s led to a lifelong fascination with the subject: from junior high book reports to numerous Classics courses in university (including one on reading hieroglyphics), and (ultimately) ... a honeymoon in Egypt. 😂😂

I've always been into reading for as long as I can remember. However as silly as it may sound I remember The Secret Garden as one that helped shape me into a more voracious reader growing up.

Congratulations on your milestone! 🎉 When The Harry Potter books first came out, I thought they were for kids. A few years later, I graduated from college and was feeling a little lost in my life so I decided to pick them up so I could see what the fuss was about. To this day, it‘s the only books I‘ve read with my mom and my sister. The books really gave us something in common and gave me a bright spot in some dark days.

@Moray_Reads #bookschangelivesgiveaway Though a recent read, “The Witches of New York” by Ami McKay. I recently started getting more into my study of witchcraft, & I related to the women in this book on such a level, that it encouraged me to seek out the witches here in Brooklyn! As a result I‘ve met an amazing group of people, have become more in tune with myself & my beliefs, & even randomly was asked to do a witch themed photo shoot 😃
