DNF: There is some interesting stories in here, but I had a hard time picking it up to read them. Five months later I‘m going to give up on trying to read it.

I received this old Puffin paperback when I was in grade four and it‘s led to a lifelong fascination with the subject: from junior high book reports to numerous Classics courses in university (including one on reading hieroglyphics), and (ultimately) ... a honeymoon in Egypt. 😂😂
