Help Littens!! These are optional books for a fall class I'm taking. There are so many great choices...I can only pick one for the class 😢 I need help narrowing down my decision. Any special one you think I should read?
LiteraryinPA I think the one you tagged is a great option! I can say that my school all read Omnivore's Dilemma and most people really disliked it, so maybe pass on that. Good luck! 7y
AndreaReads Ugh! Tough decisions! So many of those are on my TBR! I agree with @LiteraryinLititz that Hidden Figures might be a great option; I also really enjoyed (I don't know if that's the right word) 127 Hours. 7y
Dogearedcopy I haven't read any of them; but I'm very interested in the Jane Goodall book, Michael Pollan's book; and the book by Lawrence Krause! 7y

valeriegeary I loved The End of Night. 7y
The End of Night: Searching for Natural Darkness in an Age of Artificial Light
Zelma Lab Girl is supposed to be really good, and the Lovelace and Babbage graphic novel would be quicker to read. 7y
neet_reads Jane McGonigal gave the opening address at a conference I went to, & I found everything she said really interesting. Maybe give her book a try 7y
JacqMac Tough choice! I liked The Omnivore's Dilemma. But I like all his books. 7y
RanaElizabeth Some really good ones on there but I'm mostly just super impressed that the prof gave libraries a shout-out. 7y
queerbookreader is an iconic book in environmental writing, absolutely groundbreaking, so maybe consider that? I've heard all the things about 7y
Carissa-Green-Reads Up vote for "Hidden Figures" #womanpower 7y
krismlars I really liked Lab Girl. The Omnivore's Dilemna was interesting but probably not the best on the list. 7y
BeckaroniAndCheese Huge thumbs up to Lab Girl. That was such a great read! 7y
bookwrm526 I would not be able to chose just one 7y
needleminding Only one?! 😠7y
BostonBookAddict Omnivores dilemma was really Good! It was interesting to learn about different food sources and Pollen writes really well. 7y
Blair_Reads @bookwrm526 @jaimeisbionic I've got a month before the class starts so I'm going to try and read as many as I can before the start of class 😉 That way I'm more prepared and don't miss out on as much! 7y
Blair_Reads @RanaElizabeth this whole syllabus is amazing. I've never met the professor but she mentions the TARDIS as well as libraries 😃 7y
minkyb Silent Spring 7y
