Today is #WorldRefugeeDay so I thought I would recommend some great recent releases about the refugee experience. We currently have a world refugee crisis, & to combat the hatred many are facing, it's important to learn about their experiences & share that knowledge with others. Their experiences are often vastly different from more "standard" immigrants.

Refuge by Dina Nayeri isn't out until July—but I'm looking forward to it! ?

Aquedita "Girl at war" was so moving & insightful. While it was emotionally hard to read, I am glad I did. 8y
