In honor of #blackhistorymonth and also so I have more awareness about social issues, I am reading all of these women's books this month. My #focus is on what can I learn and apply to help out others and speak up against injustice.
Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Ijeoma Oluo, Shonda Rhimes, and Michelle Obama

It's #WomenCrushWednesday again and this time I'm picking Susan Hill. She is the fabulous writer of novels such as 'The woman in black' and the Simon Serrailer series and I absolutely love her books. If you don't know her yet, go check her out (well, not her but her books, obviously). 😊
I've already posted about this book but as it's #recommendsday AND #womencrushwednesday I'm doing it again. Partly because I can't get over the gorgeous cover art and partly because it's a brilliant book written by a brilliant female author ❤️ her! #wcw
#womencrushwednesday love this woman and what she does. Enough said.
My choice for #womencrushwednesday is Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She's spent her life fighting for women's rights and you just have to love how she dresses up those boring "Supreme" black robes.
For #WomenCrushWednesday I choose Malala Yousafzai... She is the youngest ever to have received Nobel Peace Prize... She is a brave girl who made a stand against Taliban for her right to eduction. She is an inspiration to many us at such an young age.
#WomenCrushWednesday - because most "serious nonfiction is written by a whole lot of dudes." Women can pen memoirs and essays but somehow never get as much attention for their biographies. More wonderful women in this category: Stacy Schiff and Sarah Vowel! Anyone have other recommendations?
