My #BookSpin pick for September. Found it is Audio off of Libby. Already can tell this is going to be good. I love the whole “reading of a journal” format when listening to audios :)

I feel good about my August reading. I managed 17 books (including one story & one children‘s book) & made it partially through two more. A mix of genres & lots of series books. Favorites were The Forty Elephants for #SundayBuddyRead & Incidents Around the House, 😱 Hello Stranger & The Undermining of Twyla & Frank. Bear for #CampLitsy24 & Unwell Women for #SheSaid & Black Sheep were also of note. I managed all three of my #Roll100 books too.🎉📚
Not a lot of chores got done, but a good number of books were read #livingmybestlife

Favorite of August: After The Fist Death
With literally a minute to spare before midnight, I finished While Idaho Slept, bringing my total books read to 14. The top row were my favorites, but I didn‘t hate anything I finished. Lots of new-to-me authors and new series, which is both good and bad. 😂 #augustwrapup #auguststats

A helpful book! Emotionally focused therapy strengthens couples' emotional bonds in key moments to support a successful long-term relationship. The premise is adults are emotionally attached and dependent on their partners just like children are to their parents.
“Love has an immense ability to help heal the devastating wounds that life sometimes deals us [...] Loving responsiveness is the foundation of a truly compassionate, civilized society.”
