pickPaula McClain has become a go to author for me: I enjoyed both #thepariswife and #circlingthesun and the alternate perspectives they offered. Love and Ruin was similarly compelling—and McClain‘s portrayal of Martha Gellhorn and her point of view on her marriage to #ernesthemingway was perhaps her most fascinating yet.
