I had a very productive #ThankfullyReading weekend, and I have bingo card to prove it! 😉

Finished my wrap-up blog: http://sprainedbrain.blog/2019/12/01/thankfullyreading-weekend-wrap-up-pp-binge-...

And now I‘m off to watch some Colin Firth because today begins 25 days of Pride and Prejudice, y‘all. 😍

Avanders Wow!! 🥳🥳 5y
Nute Well-done! 5y
Chrissyreadit What is 25 days of Pride and Prejudice? I do watch the same one once a week... also did you get your email with your match? I was so tired I‘m worried I did not type correct email addresses. 5y

sprainedbrain @Chrissyreadit yes I did! I thought I emailed you right back? Did you not get my reply? As for #25days, check out drunkausten.com. This year we are doing 1 episode of the Firth miniseries every day. 🥰 5y
Chrissyreadit Ohhh! But I cannot stop at just one! 5y
sprainedbrain @Chrissyreadit it‘s kind of hard, but I just keep telling myself that I will be watching the whole series 4 times before Christmas, so I should pace myself. 😂 5y
Chrissyreadit Ok I‘m in. It‘s just too perfect. 5y
sprainedbrain @Chrissyreadit the good news is you get to binge a few episodes if you want to catch up! 😂😂😂 5y
Chrissyreadit OMG that was exactly what I thought!!! 5y

Current situation: slightly dog-chewed book (giant puppy is still in his demon phase) and peppermint cocoa that I wish I could squeeze a little more whipped cream into. 😂

My #ThankfullyReading weekend is off to an excellent start, so I blogged about it:

http://sprainedbrain.blog/2019/11/28/thankfullyreading-kickoff/

jb72 I have a giant puppy in that phase as well. 5y
sprainedbrain @jb72 my golden is almost 10 months old, gigantic, and (I‘m pretty sure) the devil. But gosh, he‘s cute. 😂 5y
jb72 @sprainedbrain Aw so sweet! My monster is Anatolian Shepherd and Great Pyrenees. He‘s about ten months old too and ginormous! He doesn‘t understand how big he is either. 5y
sprainedbrain @jb72 we have that issue too! Nearly 90 lbs but sits on us like he‘s still tiny. 5y

Finished my first #thankfullyreading book. I ended up really enjoying this book. It‘s more of a cozy mystery than I usually read but I love reading all about Charleston.

Scochrane26 I love Charleston. I‘ve only been once & want to go back. 5y

Is anyone else participating in #thankfullyreading over Thanksgiving weekend? It‘s a no stress relaxing readathon Weds-Sun and I love it! This will be my ninth year doing this readathon! https://www.readingsusan.com/myreadingadventure-susan/2019/11/26/thankfully-read...

Mehso-so

My final #thankfullyreading book of this long, glorious weekend. I did find this book enjoyable for the most part but the ending was just too convoluted, long and confusing. It was rather ridiculous honestly and ruined how fascinated I was with the first half of the book.

I was provided a copy of this book by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Tamra My kind of meal. 😋 6y

Happy Thanksgiving Litsy Friends! I am headed to my extended in laws for the first time this Thanksgiving. My family has fractured a little bit this year so I decided to skip that Thanksgiving. Feel weird and sad about it today. But I do like my in laws and it‘s only two hours away. I plan to listen up my audiobooks in the car for #thankfullyreading!

Grrlbrarian Hang in there, @ReadingSusan wishing that you are able to find some peace and moments of pleasure today. 6y
ReadingSusan @Grrlbrarian thank you! I am sure I will. I love my in laws. Just hoping all the kids will be there 🤣 6y
Mindyrecycles Aw sorry. Relationship with my parents and bros not great so I understand. It‘s painful. Enjoy the in-laws! Glad you have them. 6y

AmyG Happy Thanksgiving 🦃....hope, while it‘s different this year, you have a good time. 6y
Amiable Dysfunctional family dynamics here, too. I feel your pain. But at least you have the in-law family to be with and enjoy, so that's something to be thankful for! Have a great day! 6y
Dragon Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🥧🍁🧡 6y
Kaye I know where you‘re coming from with the fractured family. Very difficult , and in days like today, it magnifies the problem. I‘ve come to look at it more as Just Another Day With Better Food. Stand strong. It‘s hard but you‘ll get through it. 6y
BooknerdsLife Hope you've enjoyed your holiday with your in laws 🤗💖🦃 6y

Time for #thankfullyreading. I am determined to finally finish this book. It‘s one that has been hard to get through because it‘s so stressful.

Redwritinghood My Overdrive hold for the audiobook just came in. I waited a long time for it, but now I‘m not sure I still want to read it. 6y
ReadingSusan @Redwritinghood it‘s a good reminder of all the stuff that has happened that I have forgotten. Now whether that‘s a good thing or not I don‘t know. I prefer to forgot but then forgetting can make you complacent. Or oh just another ridiculous thing he has done instead of oh this is the most dangerous person in the country. 6y
DorkieHollieReads Let me know if you end up reading or liking it. Or at least find it interesting. I have debated on reading it, as well. I dunno if I want that kind of outrage in my life (again) or to be reminded of all the shenanigans and tomfoolery that is number 45, but I also do need to be informed, so I‘m torn. Haha. 6y
ReadingSusan @DorkieHollieReads it is very enraging for sure. But like you said important to be informed. It really is shocking how inefficient things are in that White House. It‘s a miracle nothing worse has happened than all the terrible stuff that has it really is. 6y
