TheAromaofBooks Out of the ones @julesG posted, I really enjoyed Project Hail Mary, mostly because of the snarky humor 😂 2y
julesG @TheAromaofBooks I fear Cindy has read this already. 2y
Megabooks I‘m stuck on Hugo too, but I‘ll take a look at the list. Thanks @julesG ! 2y
Cinfhen Woohoo!!! Thanks for all the suggestions @julesG 😘😘😘I‘ve read a few but there are some that you suggested that I will definitely look for!!!! Amazing list 🙌🏻 2y
Cinfhen And you‘re right @julesG @TheAromaofBooks I have read and enjoyed Project Hail Mary. 2y
Cinfhen I choose Children‘s Secret @thegirlwiththelibrarybag for the prompt #TakesPlaceAtAParty - it was ok, not great but a decent listen. I got the audio through Hoopla. 2y
The Children's Secret
jenniferw88 I loved this one, I'm using book 2 for that prompt! 2y
The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet
Cinfhen I tried it once @jenniferw88 but I wasn‘t getting into it. I know it‘s universally loved! 2y
BarbaraBB These are good 2y
Fahrenheit 451
BarbaraBB And 2y
Parable of the Sower (Warner Books)
BarbaraBB And I am going to read this one for the prompt 2y
The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle
Cinfhen I‘ve read all 3 @BarbaraBB but I appreciate your suggestions 😘 2y
BarbaraBB I could have known 🤓😘 2y
squirrelbrain I‘ve got this one on my potential list, mentioned by @julesG 2y
The Ten Thousand Doors of January
Cinfhen I‘ve actually read Ten Thousand Doors @squirrelbrain and I liked it!! I think I‘m gonna try this one @BarbaraBB suggested by @julesG 2y
Master of Djinn
BarbaraBB Cool! 2y
julesG Enjoy! 2y
Cortg I‘m not a big sci-fi reader and the book I‘m planning on you‘ve already read but I did read and love American Gods and The Graveyard Book. Both Neil Gaiman but I kinda ❤️ him. *The Graveyard Book is a middle grades book but it was high on our family roadtrip listens. 2y
KarenUK I‘m going with this one I think… 2y
This Is How You Lose the Time War
Cinfhen Thanks for the recs @KarenUK @Cortg I‘ve never read NG so this might be a good time to try his books!! 2y
Centique @Cinfhen there are two novellas before Master of Djinn which are shorter if you want to use one of them for the prompt. I kinda liked the book better having read them first. But I‘m thinking you might like NG better. 2y
A Dead Djinn in Cairo: A Tor.Com Original
Centique I guess the novellas didn‘t win a Hugo award though. One of them was nominated if that counts. 😉 2y
