As can be assumed from the title, the protagonists, especially Elinor and Marianne, are personifications of two opposing but necessary "elements": the reason and the feeling.

the happy ending was pleasant and accompanied by an unexpected twist as hoped for.

I did not want to end it for anything in the world.

Come si può supporre dal titolo i protagonisti, specie Elinor e Marianne, sono personificazioni di due "elementi" opposti ma necessari l'un l'altro: la ragione e il sentimento.
L'happy - ending è stato piacevole e accompagnato da un colpo di scena inaspettato ma sperato, non avrei voluto finirlo per nulla al mondo.

272 pages in and I'm not sure how I feel about this, I feel like it's moved quite fast without really setting much in, I think for such a long series it could've done with being a bit of a slower paced book to really draw you in and engage you rather than rush through to the finishing school drama, anyone else agree??

Happy 20th. This series is a favorite of I'm sure many many people. I had to share my Slytherin house pride today as the first novel turns 20. 💚🐍

I really enjoyed this book. It was written in a very creative and interesting way. Although I thought there could be more to the story (the love story specifically), I thought it quite good.
