I adored this picture book. It has beautiful messages about community, sharing, and gratitude. It‘s the picture book selection for Charlotte Mecklenburg Library‘s 2024 Community Reads program.

DGRachel @rockpools I honestly don‘t know. I quit using Duolingo earlier this year or the end of last year. I may go back to it eventually, but I don‘t even have the app on my phone anymore. 9mo

A part of the book that really stood out to me was at the end when they all had a dance party. In younger grades I feel like this is important because who doesn't love a good dance party but it also shows they that its okay to be you in your community.

This book is a thoughtful read that helps children understand the value of being apart of a community and sharing with others. I believe that this book shows how one little act of kindness can go a long way.
