Well, I could not keep my eyes open long enough to finish those last hundred pages last night, but I think this is still a respectable number of pages for 5 days. I finished 3 novels, 1 short story, and started another book.

I've loved seeing what everyone else is reading and thank you all so much for joining me.

thegirlwiththelibrarybag Oh gosh, I love Leverage! Have you watched the new one? Redemption? I think I read this series about 10 years ago too (not sure if I finished them) 8mo
ShananigansReads @thegirlwiththelibrarybag I‘ve watched both multiple times. It‘s one of my comfort shows. Hardison is my favorite. I wish he was in redemption more. 8mo

thegirlwiththelibrarybag @ShananigansReads, Hardison is fantastic! I love how they‘ve managed to keep his character going tho with such limited screen time. Sending him to work on the space station was hilarious. Love Harry & Breanna too. 8mo
ShananigansReads @thegirlwiththelibrarybag yes. I love the new characters. It was questionable that I would but they did a good job weaving them in. (Now I wanna rewatch again) 8mo

38/150 This book is totally 🍌👖!! I can't say much about the book without ruining the story, it's like Fight Club, the first rule of Rabbits is you don't talk about Rabbits. It's a game, but more than a game, it might be the end of the world. It's very meta, very pop-culture oriented. According to Storygraph is is Rabbits #1, I can't wait to see what the author does for an encore. 5 🌟

#Wardens2024 #BookSpinBingo #ReadAway2024 #SpringBreakReadathon #Roll100 #ReadMyRoom

My 3rd & final #Roll100 read for the mom of March🥳❤️‍🔥 Part of a series but, I read it as a stand alone. It held its own tbh. A little mythology mixed in with some romance etc…🤓📚 It‘s too bad the male model on the cover is total opposite of the male MC🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

ShananigansReads Oh I hate it when the cover and the characters don‘t match 8mo

Looking good for the first couple of #SpringBreakReadathon days. I've been moving around most of the day so I'm just getting a chance to update but on the bright side I was able to finish a book which will make 3 so far for the thon.

Another friend is doing a 1,000 page challenge April 5-11 so April might be my month with the most reading this year. Can't wait to see what happens.

37/150 For modern readers, the War of 1812 and the burning of Washington DC doesn't the same emotional link as events like 9/11 or even the bombing of Pearl Harbor. It was the only time (so far) that the United States was invaded by a foreign power. The author lays the destruction of the nation's capital on the incompetence of the American leaders, especially the Sec.of War Armstrong. Fortunately, the British had their own share of ⬇️

RamsFan1963 incompetence and cowardice, or things could have turned out much worse than they did. The book is full of stories of individual heroism, clerks, slaves and average people risking their lives to save priceless documents, including the Declaration of Independence & the Constitution, from destruction by British soldiers. 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 8mo

tokorowilliamwallace I found out when I lived there for a couple years that Maryland has a lot of War of 1812 history in various locations, and I thought that was so cool. 8mo
RamsFan1963 @tokorowilliamwallace The British had planned to sack and destroy Baltimore, because it was a valuable port. Luckily again, a combination of British incompetence and American heroism saved the city against a much larger enemy force. 8mo

KathyWheeler I often forget about the War of 1812. When I was in Canada, they have battlefield markers and other information there, so I was reminded of it recently. 8mo
Bookwomble "British Incompetence": We have such a glorious tradition of that, and it's nice to see our present government maintaining our nation's brilliant historical legacy of fucking everything up ???? 7mo
