pickIf you're into baseball history in the South this book is a really good read. It's full of images from the turn of the century to the mid-2000s. While it's not exhaustive by any stretch of the imagination, it provides a lovely glimpse of the communities in the Carolinas back then.

Joseph Stalin is one of the lead characters of the early part of one of my favourite books, Archangel by Robert Harris. Unsurprisingly Uncle Joe doesn't come across too well in this book! I can see it now, Uncle Joe : The Musical. This is where someone tells me it already exists. #MelodiousMusicals
