There‘s a story behind Bibliophage. About five years ago, my mom emailed me a dictionary.com word of the day and said, “This is you!” It was bibliophage, and she was correct. I was the kid who never looked out the car window, and who had to be forced to play if it meant abandoning my book. That didn‘t change as I aged.

I say biblio-faaaahhhge but some people say faaayyyyge. Either is correct.

It's a nickname plus the initial of my last name. Simple as that. I use a version of this as my #ScreenName.

ju.ca.no My schoolfriends also used to call me Jules, but I „lost“ the nickname when I went to Uni... but I‘ve always preferred Julia 😅 7y

julesG @ju.ca.no Do you pronounce your name with two or three syllables? Yul-ya or Yu-li-a? I'm from East Germany and people tend to make it two syllables, which I hate. 😉 So Jules is much better. 7y

Chelleo Never heard it pronounced as 2 syllables and thanks for letting us know is Y and not J ☺️ 7y

julesG @Chelleo it's Y in German and Russian. Two syllables for little Russian girls, hence I detest it. I prefer the J pronunciation with three syllables. 😉 7y

BookishMe @Chelleo thank yous... Yes, going by the Tamil spelling and pronunciation, name ends with a hard 'Ti' sound. Bollywood propelled the North Indians to limelight. Tamils are from the southern Tamil Nadu though India is mostly a tourist attraction for me ;D 7y
