You Are Dead | Peter James

I read so many crime books that there is tough competition for the #ScariestVillain , in the end I have gone for the serial killer Dr Edward Crisp from You Are Dead (Book 11 in the brilliant Detective Roy Grace Series). Stay away from Brighton! #MarchMadness

He even won an award for this villain! https://www.midaspr.co.uk/news-stories/truly-terrifying-peter-james-scoops-award...

JoScho Added it. I am always looking for a good new series. 7y
Andrew65 @JoScho It is a wonderful series, and I would love to be at the start of that journey. 😊 7y
JoScho Oh I know it‘s good then. Thanks for recommendation 😀 7y
Andrew65 @JoScho Hope you enjoy them. 😊 7y

Day 6 of #MarchMadness is #ScariestVillain - for me there‘s no other way to go. Hannibal 100%. He‘s intelligent and unpredictable. He operates in new space and it‘s intense af 😬💔📚
Thank you all so much for participating! So many books shared, love it🙌

somebooksaround @Jokila my friend gave it to me for chanukah! But I tagged it - I‘m sure you can get it on amazon! 😃🙌 it‘s fantastic! 7y
Jokila Thanks!! 7y
OwenBanner Seriously one of the best tv shows of all time. Wish they could have kept it going 6y
somebooksaround @OwenBanner couldn‘t agree more!!! The cast still holds out for a s4... so I‘m gonna stay in denial land until s4 becomes a thing 😂🙌 6y

#ScariestVillain

What terrified me about Erik was that he would not stop. Even when it was clear she loved another. He escalated his behavior. He killed people. And yes, his is a tragic story, but stalking, kidnapping, murder? I can‘t justify those things...I was actually sweating reading this book.

#MarchMadness

TommieMarie74 Such a good book! One of my favorites. (edited) 7y

#Scariestvillain the Wicked Witch of the West tries a spell with her own #helpinghand, but Dorothy, Glinda's magic will keep you #inyourshoes, because you're the #femalelead. You can't go #backtothefuture, but you can go back to Kansas. 😊🌈 #marchintooz #magicalmarch #readingresolutions #marchmadness #March80sMovies

[March06] Patrick Bateman of #AmericanPsycho is the #scariestvillain for me. He's dark, twisted and has the whole package of a psychopath 🤤

#MarchMadness @josteele

somebooksaround Omg I‘ve had this on my tbr for ages! He looks wild! 🙌📚 7y
thereadingowlvina @josteele Both the book and movie were hard for me lol. Christian Bale did an awesome job in the movie and yes he is soooo wild 😀 7y

I used this for a prompt last month, but I don‘t typically read books that scare me (extremely vivid imagination, though I‘ve been known to watch paranormal reality TV - go figure!). Mr Hemming is probably the #scariestvillain I‘ve read. He‘s creepy and seems to lack a conscience. #MarchMadness

Christine11 He is unbelievably creepy - I totally agree ! 😱 7y

ElishaLovesBooks Did you like these? I just bought the first one and want to read them but I keep seeing mixed reviews. 7y
batsy @ElishaLovesBooks Loved them all! 😊 But yes, mixed reviews. They're definitely strange and have no solutions or answers or closure. To me that was really exciting and appealing; to others who disliked it, maybe less so. 7y
ElishaLovesBooks Thanks @batsy I think I‘m going to give it a try soon. I‘m usually a girl who likes closure but I‘m up for a new experience!!😂 7y
somebooksaround Such a good pick!! 7y
Jokila I loved it for its ambiguity too! ☺️ (and what a killer answer for this prompt lol) 7y
batsy @josteele @Jokila Thank you :) I'm getting to be a bit of a bore, I'm always trying to talk about these books 😆 7y

I don't really do scary so I'm falling back on a classic. Rosa Klebb was pretty creepy.

somebooksaround Classic! So funny, I was just watching Goldfinger! 🙌🙌 7y
PagesOfKate You're so right! Rosa gave me nightmares when I was a kid. Very creepy. 7y
