EadieB She is the queen of twists and this one does not disappoint. I found Amelia and Adam not very likable. The ending was a complete surprise to me. I now feel as though I need to read Feeney's other books. If you like domestic thrillers, then you will like this book. I found it very unpredictable. 3y

Rock Paper Scissors is such a popular thriller right now, but for me it was just…meh. First of all, I guessed the big twist from about page 15. And it wasn‘t really that good of a twist. Building up a plot for an entire novel, just to say “whoops let‘s switch that” right at the end feels like a cheap shot. All of these basic thrillers follow the same pattern and this one was no different. #rockpaperscissors #popcornthriller

I read Rock Paper Scissors over two busy days, and I really enjoyed the creepy, winter atmosphere that the story played out in! I do think that all the characters are just terrible, and to be honest could have done without the ending chapter, but it was an enjoyable read! #botm #rockpaperscissors #septemberreads

I‘m having a much harder time with this one than I have with any of her others; I don‘t always love her plots, but usually, they‘re still page-turners. I‘ve been working on this one for days and am still only 80 pages in, and am finding that at this point, I don‘t particularly like or care about these people. TheNerdyProfessor I have about 40 pages left and still feel this way ... I don't like any of the characters. And each chapter feels like the same "something spooky happens but also one of us is lying about who we are'. 3y

actualdisneyprincess @TheNerdyProfessor exactly!!!! I just hit ~the big twist~ and like…it feels like a cop-out and totally convoluted. (I might just be salty I didn‘t actually figure it out but also…so convoluted.) 3y
