A sad and dark #poetry collection but I like it. Poems about loneliness anxiety hearbreak... Some of them was written in 2020 during lockdown.
We always need to say that we are okay. But are we really okay? That is the question the writer ask us.

⚠️ The art/drawing isn‘t my own.
It‘s not as horrific poem, but more of a heartwrenching kind of pain.
When I write poetry, I just allow my mind to empty itself all over the paper. I don‘t try manipulating anything to fit a certain theme. I just go along with the given prompt.

With that being exactly one year ago this week, of course I had to revisit it again when I spotted it on a community bookshelf at a local tea lounge. These are my planned reads for September. Most of these are for the Metallic ColorCAT at #LibraryThing. I'll be reading the tagged book first. The Bradbury is a re-read of one of my favorites for the RandomCAT at #LibraryThing. I share a birthday with Ray Bradbury. The Simic is my #PoetryChallenge pick for this month.
My August TBR pile. Candide is for the ColorCAT at #LibraryThing. The Bukowski is for the #PoetryChallenge. The rest of the month is catch-up time as I started three of these books for other challenges and never finished them. Hoping to start September fresh.
