It's inspired by Jansson's writing about her youth, and includes a short bio at the back, which I'm happy to say mentions her longtime woman partner and how unusual it was for her to be out at that time.

They blow kisses to it, and when it begins to snow, the child thinks the moon is blowing kisses of its own, back to her. Two bunnies, one named Pip one made named Bun are outside. Pip wants to read, and Bun wants to play. But stories are boring, so Bun doesn‘t want to read with Pip. But Pip is a smart bunny and finds a perfect way to convince Bun that stories are fun. Altogether this was a perfect read. The story was lovely. This is a book librarians will read over and over again.

Book swap presents for the little people in my life from earlier this month when I went to visit them on holiday on the central coast.
pick3 ⭐ This book is well done. It‘s a nice read. The sad part is I think it‘s mostly autobiographical. Tori Spelling was raised by one of the richest men in media and had everything she could want but nothing she did want. I have unfortunately watched things happen in her life due to media that while this book is lovely it makes me incredibly sad for her.
My trip to #London is over and I‘m back at home, ready to dig into all my purchases! I got two new books for my little niece. The elephant book has hilarious graphics and #Paddington is always a treat. Gotta prepare her young for her first travel to London!
