#PoetryMatters Day 24: #Wake - this was one of the poems I asked family members to read during my mother‘s cremation service and my college kid read it aloud again during the December break when we finally released mother‘s ashes into the Persian Gulf. Found the poem in the exquisite tagged book that gave me comfort during my time of grief.
Hi! I wasn't very active last year. I wasn't posting. I didn't read many books either. I can say it was the worst reading year. Especially the last half. I started reading a lot of books that I didn't finish. But not because they weren't good. Mostly because I didn't have the motivation. I was doing a lot on myself. Would like to finish the unfinished books (maybe not all of them). But in any case, the goal is to read more books than last year.⬇️
