I don't have many one word titles but I think it's difficult to understand what they're about without more words. I think the flowing nature of a longer title sounds more interesting. The Starless Sea, Harry Potter and the..., A Chimney Sweepers Come to Dust, The Subtle Knife. These titles pull me in more to discover what they're about.

Here is my favorite #OneWordTitles series. I've said this a few times in previous posts and I'll probably say it a few more in the future, but Cinder is a book I constantly recommend to people. It is so good that sometimes I wish I could read it for the first time all over again.

pickThough this is my second time reading this, I can honestly say that the twisting plot surprised me this time too! Exciting story, great to see development from the characters first introduced in Alone- but new characters are strong here too!
