I‘ve owned this book for years, but packed away most of my books into a storage unit when I moved back home until I get married in November. Picked this copy up for $3 at a consignment sale! Going to settle in with a yummy snack and dig in! First time I read it I laughed, I sobbed.. so good! #okay?okay. #goodread #cheap

It was interesting to see how Ava pieced together Zelda‘s game to see where Zelda is hiding or if she really is dead. I was annoyed with how much alcohol all the characters were consuming throughout the book. Also, annoyed by the ending. Interesting plot and good writing though.

#okay, so. #This #book was a solid, Dan Brown-like mystery. The usual #realistic tone, with the fictional details attached to #real #life places and #historical #events just #works. What I loved: the suggested solution to the world #overpopulation #problem. What threw #me #off: it was all fake? it wasn't? Wait, no it was? Does it #matter? Interesting: The #bad guys actually won. All in #all, a #good #read.
I judge every #youngadult relationship to the standard of Augustus and Hazel and desire for every book to pull off in a happy ending what this one managed in tragedy. Because, I can count on one hand the number of #YA characters who I've felt actually fell in love by the end of their narratives and The Fault in Our Stars counts twice.
