It‘s a so-so because I just don‘t get graphic novels, my brain obviously just thinks in words. Hubby says this is a good one and he reads a lot of them! At least it was about Bowie.

Caroline2 I used to hate graphic novels till I read Maus. It completely changed my perspective and yet I‘ve still not read another graphic novel since!!! 😆 🤔 🤷‍♀️

Ughhh! I tried but this was just wayyyy off the rails!! I LOVED Joe, I loved how Caroline Kepnes wrote Joe but this book felt under-baked ~ it was trying to be too many things. This felt more like a debut & not the wit & polish I expected from this author. Also, I‘m not familiar with HP Lovecraft so all the references were over my head. I can‘t even place it under a genre: Sci-Fi ? Coming of Age ? Abduction? Thriller? #Bummer #Not4Me

This one #not4me. ? Started out on Audio but couldn't take the whining of Georgie's kids. Switched to print copy but I'm not much of sitcom person. Plus whole time I kept thinking "Buy a Damn Phone Battery! It's not that hard. 5 minutes online."

so-so

This is between a so-so and a pan. I really didn't like the protagonist Tom/John. The science part was cool & the time travel aspect was interesting but the protagonist killed it for me. He describes himself as unmotivated, floating through life with no goals or ambition and we're supposed to believe he managed all these hijinks. Not today, Satan. Skip the audiobook, the narrator/author is whispery at times and Shatneresque at other times. #not4me
