I‘m about 30 pages in, and honestly…it‘s a little lackluster so far. Molly‘s characterization seems overly simple to me in this one, and the same descriptions have already been used multiple times. When I think of Molly the Maid, I think of a mystery. Nita Prose did a twist with ' The Mistletoe Mystery'. A mystery with a romantic twist at Christmas Time.

There's not a lot I can say about 'The Mistletoe Mystery ' without giving things away. I will say that Molly is head maid at the Regency Hotel still. Prose still makes her lovable and is really developing her. You will have to get the book when it hits bookshelves ⬇️

I always wonder if an authors second book is going to live up to their first. In the case of The Mystery Guest, Prose's second book, does live up to her first The Maid.

In The Mystery Guest, we are reunited with Molly, the maid. She is now head maid and takes her job seriously. While training Lily, a new maid, a guest of the Regency is murdered. Molly is thrust into the middle of the investigation by her friend, Angela. Of course, there ⬇️

I have no words to describe this book. It‘s a fun and fast read and you find that the main character is quirky, naive and likable. Two thirds through the book, omg!!!!
