I was really curious and excited about this book and I hate to say that it is very disappointing. I wish there we more creative ideas and the book lived up to it's premise which is releasing a demon upon reading it. Just for the novelty of the premise it was worth reading it for me. however, it really underdelivers and there isn't much going for it.

Anyone else obsessively watching this content on IG? I want to literally tear all the covers off my paperbacks and do this. ❤️📚💡
It‘s real then! I‘d heard the rumours. A Penguin vending machine in the main foyer of the station, between the ticket machines and Starbucks.
What I didn‘t know was that profits are shared with the local indie bookshop, which is great!

4 ⭐ This book is about how to draw a cat. Duh, right? But you can‘t assume that just because you draw a smiley face the cat is going to be happy. So, the omniscient narrator is drawing various things to help keep the cat happy. These things include airplanes and pizza and a catapult. Eventually the cat doesn‘t look happy but someone else ends up sad so what shall the narrator do now? This book was fun, and the illustrations are simple enough
My mum found this badge and new I'd love it. Its so cute. #penguinbooks #badge #reading
Truly an everybody book: younger readers may not see the humor. I could see it triggering some anxiety, but then it's really funny. Poopsie turn out to be one tough cookie. The finale reminded me of The Monster at the End of This Book, or The Perfectly Messed-up Story, making Poopsie even funnier, if that's possible after the Rambo reference.
Mixed feelings about this one. Illustrations are gorgeous! I wasn't a fan of the humor of the book, however. It had a “let's trick the cat into doing something scary and then laugh about it” feel, which isn‘t my type of humor. But that's just my opinion. Others will find it hilarious. If this is your type of humor, definitely check it out. It's worth it for the illustrations alone. #catsoflitsy
